Description

Site code: GKR13. In October and November 2013, an archaeological excavation was carried out by MOLA (formerly Northamptonshire Archaeology), on behalf of the East Midlands Housing Association, on land north of Kettering Road, Walgrave Northamptonshire. The excavation identified undated ditches forming part of a field-system. The droveway and boundary ditches are likely to be prehistoric date, because of the leached fills and absence of artefacts. A series of post-medieval furrows was also identified. Information from OASIS Online Form.
