{1} The evaluation comprised twelve c.50m long trenches and one 35m long trench between 1.8 m and 2.1m wide. The evaluation identified no evidence for significant archaeological activity (other than post medieval/modern land drains) and revealed that the northern part of the site has been significantly disturbed and truncated by open cast quarrying.
