Description

{1} Archaeological field evaluation was undertaken on land at the former Manor House, Chancery Lane. The proposed development site was occupied until recently by a nursing home built in the 1970s which replaced the former Manor House. The first stage of work is an archaeological field evaluation in which three trenches were excavated across the proposed development site in areas both within and outside the footprint of demolished buildings which recently occupied the site.
