Description
Desk-based assessment of the Bragborough Hall estate, which originated in the late 18th or early 19th century. It is certainly in existence by 1810. The estate was laid out amongst the ridge and furrow earthworks of the former medieval open fields of Braunston and its dependent Falclyve DMV. Most of these earthworks have disappeared since 1947. Records show that there is evidence for buried archaeology beneath the fields at selected locations on the estate. Information from OASIS Online Form.
