Full Description

{1} Well head. Probably C18. Italian. Marble. Circular with arcaded frieze. The sides are carved with crosses, fleurs de lys and two coats of arms. Wrought iron arch with scroll ornament surmounted by a coronet supports pulley for bucket. Included for group value.

{3} After World War II the hall came into the hands of the McGowan family who are said to have brought the Grade II listed stone wellhead in the gardens from another of their properties in North Wales.
