Description

{1} Geophysical survey of all accessible ares of the current site was carried out by SUMO-Stratascan in 2012. It identified a number of anomalies in Area C which may be associated with the known settlement at Long Dole and possible archaeological features detected by geophysical survey of areas to the east of Watling Street. [NB. Data entry for this recording event has been taken from source {1} as no report of the survey (Butler, 2012) has been separately submitted to the HER.
