Description

{1} Archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of a proposed new University Technical College. An earlier low level test pit revealed no archaeological finds or features although the presence of ridge and furrow earthworks was noted. Archaeological potential of the site required that 4 30m evaluation trenches be excavated as well as a topographic survey of the extant earthworks.
