Description

{1} The survey identified two principal areas of archaeological interest, one of which contains a rectilinear pattern of ditches and the other of which may contain a pit cluster. These remains are tentatively dated to the late prehistoric or Roman periods. Medieval ridge and furrow, postmedieval field boundaries, an abandoned stream channel and other features of possible minor archaeological interest were also detected.
