Description

An archaeological investigation was carried out on land adjacent to 1 Captains Court, The Drive, Horton, Northamptonshire (SP 8201 5436) by University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) on 15-17 September 2015. The work was carried out on behalf of Lifespace Design Studio Ltd in advance of the proposed re-development of the site. A square-shaped foundation trench totalling 190.68 square metres was excavated. This revealed evidence of medieval and post-medieval activity in the form of multiple gullies and a ditch.
