Description

{1} A field evaluation by trenching was carried out following a geophysical survey. Two ditches containing later Neolithic pottery were found towards the north part of the site. A further ditch close to one containing Neolithic pottery contained a struck flint flake. Sporadic features were found across parts of the rest of the site. A ditch in Trench 15 contained two sherds of possible medieval pottery. The other features comprising small pits, gullies and ditches were undated. Medieval and post-medieval pottery was recovered from agricultural furrows and subsoils.
