Description

MOLA was commissioned to carry out a detailed magnetometer survey on land east of London Road, Little Irchester, Northamptonshire. The survey identified archaeological remains likely to date from the Iron Age or Roman periods. This comprises a number of potential enclosures, pits and linear ditches. Medieval ridge and furrow cultivation was also identified. Information from OASIS Online Form.
