Description

{1} The building recording determined that the Old Barn was originally a 17th-century cruck-buit threshing barn, contemporary with a number of structures in the close vicinity. It was re-roofed and provided with a timber threshing floor in the mid-19th century. During the 20th century, about half of its floor was reduced in level by about 300mm in order to accommodate wheeled access from the north.
