Description

A trial trench excavation was conducted by Independent Archaeology Consultants for the construction of a new dwelling at Manor House Farm, Isham. The two trenches contained a number of archaeological features, predominantly dating to the medieval period. Two ditches and a hearth produced 11th and 12th century pottery, as well as rich inclusions of charred plant remains.
