Description

{1} A programme of archaeological monitoring was undertaken during groundworks for the construction of two detached bungalows. Plot 1 did not contain any buried heritage assets. Plot 2 had previously been covered by a concrete hardstanding which had required significant terracing and ground reduction for its construction, almost certainly truncating or removing any buried heritage assets that might have been present. No finds of any archaeological significance were noted in the excavated soil.
