Description

{1} A total of 0.35ha was machine stripped under archaeological direction. The archaeological remains included a possible Iron Age enclosure, dated by a single sherd of pottery, with a number of placed deposits of cattle skulls. Anglo-Saxon features comprised the truncated remains of two ‘sunken-featured buildings’ (SFB).
