Description
{1} In total 41 trenches were opened across the site, targeted on the results of a geophysical survey, and to test ‘blank areas’. Unstratified struck flints and sparse middle Iron Age features were identified, but the majority of the archaeological features dated to the Iron Age and Roman periods and comprised an extensive array of ditches and pits.
