Description

{1} Substantial depths of re-deposited clay and subsoil, derived from the adjacent A43 Towcester to M40 Road Improvement Scheme, were recorded across much of the site, as was predicted by the heritage desk-based assessment. In areas where construction works exposed the geological substrate, no evidence was encountered for any archaeological remains within the impacted areas.
