Description

{1} Archaeological observation undertaken during the installation of new services found substantial masonry foundations of the south porch which was demolished during the Dissolution. A total of 22 articulated and partially articulated inhumations were discovered, located on all but the eastern side of the church, most dating to the medieval or early post-medieval period. Some predated the construction of the nave in c 1434.
