Description

{1} In August 2018 a programme of archaeological monitoring was undertaken on excavations for an external front access stairway to the cellar of 13 Albion Place, Northampton and a soakaway in the front garden. All excavations were undertaken by hand. Those for the stairwell revealed only that there had once been a flower bed fronting the house, its eastern extent probably marked by brick or ceramic edging. No buried archaeological features were present and no finds were noted.
