Description

{1} Archaeological observation of pipeline route. The pipeline is 3240m in length and comprises three main areas, one of which is yet to be excavated. There was a mixture of open cut excavation and directional drilling. A number of manholes, 4-5m deep, were also excavated. Natural clays were observed along much of the length, apart from manhole 23 which uncovered a large modern rubbish dump.
