Description
{1} Five 20m trenches were excavated prior to proposed development. A 20th-century tennis court surface had truncated deposits, although a ditch containing Romano-British pottery and tile was identified. The extremely abraded nature of the pottery suggests that the ditch may have been of a later, possibly, medieval date.
