Description

{1} Archaeological trial trench evaluation in a car park at the Bell Plantation in advance of the construction of a proposed vetinary building. A single trench, 30m long and 2m wide, was excavated. Ditches and pits dating to the late 1st to late 2nd century were identified, as well as a possible inhumation burial, which was left in situ.
