Description

{1} Part of the major phases of excavation undertaken by Oxford Archaeology at Kings Meadow Lane, site 3 was stripped and subject to a very rudimentary evaluation in the winter of 1994-5 and the conclusions from that work were inevitably very provisional and tentative. Most of this site falls within the footprint of Site 8, fully excavated in 2003 [ENN103380]- this is the definative interpretation of the archaeology.
