Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during a linear scheme of drainage and highway improvement works to the A5 carriageway between Kilsby and Weedon. No archaeological remains were observed during excavation. Previous pipeline and ditching works had disturbed the ground adjacent to either side of the A5 to a depth of at least 1 m below ground level.
