project code: WEWD 19 {1} Six trial trenches were excavated. Parts of the site had been disturbed during the construction of housing in the 1990s. However, it also revealed furrows preserved below a buried topsoil horizon and two small ditches on differing alignments. A single sherd of possible Iron Age pottery was recovered from the fill of one of the ditches.
