Description

{1} Archaeological observations centred upon preparations for piling, piling itself and the excavation of pile-caps for a new multi-storeyed block on Angel Street. Remians of the Vulcan Works were identified but also a thick horticultural build-up beneath the industrial remains, suggesting earlier archaeological deposits may survive below.
