Full Description
{1} Archaeological observation identified the remains of an iron foundry which was present by 1878. The ironworking cupola was identified. In 1898 it was owned (or worked) by J Potter who specialised in cast-iron furniture and decorative panels. By the early 20th century the buildings were in use as a store and by the mid 20th the building had been absorbed into the Vulcan Works complex.
