Description

Crestwood Environmental Ltd were commissioned to undertake a programme of Building Recording (Photographic) and investigation at Level 2 of the Grade II Listed Building of the former St. Peters Church, Little Oakley. The survey found that the building had fabrics from the 13th century and has had alterations until the modern day. The most recent significant alterations may have caused a level of harm to the fabric in the building, the tower staircase and the William Montagu - which will require specialist restoration and conservation to ensure its future preservation.
