Description

{1} Fieldwalking survey was conducted over three arable fields totalling 23.5ha. A significant number of worked flint artefacts were recovered, primarily from the western field, suggesting this area was a focus of activity throughout the Mesolithic, neolithic and Bronze Age periods. Only small quantities of medieval and post-medieval artefacts were recovered and unlikely to be representative of significant activity during this period.
