Description

{1} Geophysical survey was conducted over four fields revealing a substantial archaeological site of probable Iron Age date. The largest, D-shaped enclosure, produced an exceptionally strong magnetic anomaly, suggesting the presence of burnt soil or industrial residues in the fill. [Also known as Lower Thorpe site CS032]
