Description

{1} Archaeological strip, map and sample excavation was targeted on the results of an earlier geophysical survey and field evaluation. It revealed the full extent of a small ditched enclosure, dated to the late Bronze Age to Iron Age (not late). Environmental evidence for crop processing, animal husbandry and an oven or hearth suggested occupation around the northwest side of the enclosure. [HER note: report has wrong event number of ENN108011 on it.]
