Description
{1} Archaeological observation was undertaken during the excavation of foundations for a pair of cottages on land adjacent to the former pub. Apart from a 19th-century brick-lined well located to the rear of the cottages (and shown on early OS mapping), the watching brief did not reveal any buried heritage assets.
