Description
{1} The geophysical survey was undertaken jointly by MOLA and C.L.A.S.P, with fieldwork occurring intermittently from September 2017 to April 2019. C.L.A.S.P focussed principally on the survey of the golf course land at the northern end of the site, whilst MOLA, frequently aided by C.L.A.S.P volunteers, surveyed the remainder of the hillfort. The main survey technique was magnetometry, although C.L.A.S.P also conducted some earth resistance survey over the site of the known Roman building.
