Description
{1} Archaeological observation during groundworks for three new houses with associated garages and gardens. During initial excavation of the foundation trenches within plots 1 and 2 archaeological features were observed and a trial trench was excavated to assess archaeological potential. Following the results of the trial trench the whole footprint of the building in plot 2 and subsequently plots 1 and 3 were investigated through open-area excavation. A series of medival and post-medieval features were identified.
