Description

{1} Sixteen trenches were excavated. A number of undated pits were found, although they are believed to be modern. No other archaeological features were recorded at the site. It was clear from the presence of plastic netting in the topsoil layer that least some modern ground disturbance had taken place, although the depth of truncation associated with this was not clear.
