Description

{1} A total of 33 trenches were excavated across the 12.5ha site, located c100m to the south of the Scheduled Monument of Burnt Walls. Very few features of archaeological origin were identified apart from four post-medieval ditches in Trenches 10 and 12 ad a possible pit in Trench 24.
