Description

The dry stone wall alongside the footpath to the church entrance was removed and the footing trench for the new wall was excavated under the archaeological supervision. A concrete slab was removed adjoining the church wall revealing modern backfill material underlying it. No finds or features of archaeological interest were identified during the project.
