Description
Pre-Develop Archaeology carried out a programme of observation, investigation, recording, analysis of the garden of the Cottage, the Green, Ashton. They exposed a possible prehistoric land clearance and a single mid-late medieval plough furrow. Finds comprised of struck flint flakes and a single flint scraper and a few sherds of mid to late Medieval shell tempered ware pottery.
