Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out by ULAS on land at Desborough Grange in spring 2021. The work was undertaken in advance of a proposed residential development. Twenty-one evaluation trenches were excavated in the north and north-west fields, most of the trenches were negative for archaeological features, with the exception of three trenches in the northern field that contained post-medieval field boundaries. In the north-west fields, furrows were visible in some of the trenches and a natural hollow was observed within one trench.
