Description
Pre-Construct Archaeology was commissioned to undertake a programme of archaeological observation, investigation and recording at 11 The Jamb, Corby, Northamptonshire. Despite the potential for archaeological deposits/features to be present the archaeological monitoring demonstrated that the site had been widely truncated by previous phases of construction, drainage services and landscaping. A small, undated ditch was revealed to be an earlier boundary, with overlying made ground up to 0.85m deep, and a soakaway, dated to the 19th century.
