Description

There was evidence of a boundary ditch that extended across the excavation area, truncated by a series of parallel ditches in the west. To the east, the area was characterised by a series of pits and a small sub-rectangular structure. The fieldwork revealed that the main period of occupation was during the 12th century with limited activity in the later 13th/14th century.
