Description

Ten trial trenches were excavated in an area of land formerly developed for use as a golf course in the late 20th century. No archaeological features were found and there was evidence of extensive modern disturbance across the area of investigation. A further ten planned trenches could not be excavated as they were located in an area of dense woodland.
