Description

{1} Two trial trenches were excavated across an earthwork thought likely to be a plough headland. The earthwork was recorded in both trenches as a sequence of layers without any obvious cuts or dumps thereby confirming its likely development at the point where non reversible ploughs were turned around. No other archaeological remains were present.
