Description

Archaeological remains in Area B were very limited and were restricted to the higher ground of the southern part of the excavation area. In contrast to the features in Area A, activity here was dated exclusively to the early or middle Roman period and appeared to be ditched boundaries forming part of a field system that exhibited evidence for at least two phases.
