Description

Area C uncovered a reasonably dense concentration of small pits and gullies, most of which produced no dating evidence. A pit contained sherds of from an early Bronze Age Collared Urn and a large sherd of early to middle Neolithic pottery occurred as a residual inclusion in an Iron Age feature. At least two phases of enclosures and two roundhouses were identified that are likely to date to between the early and middle Iron Age.
