Description
Area E uncovered a dense concentration of struck flint. The flint appears to have been concentrated around several otherwise undated shallow pits or hearths. A sequence of three palaeochannels was sectioned and sampled in Culvert 10, and has produced radiocarbon dates ranging from the Mesolithic to the Iron Age.
