Description

Excavation covered approximately 2 hectare that featured 7 un-urned cremations, 4 ditches, 12 pits, 6 postholes, 2 gullies and 16 furrows. From the evidence, it is suggested that there were 2 phases; firstly as a Bronze Age cemetery site and later as an agricultural site sometime after the Bronze Age but before the Medieval period. Few artefacts were recovered, such as prehistoric pottery.
