Description

The excavations revealed thin disturbed subsoil, lying over the natural stony clay, changing to a darker clay lower down. No archaeological finds or features were retrieved or revealed during the watching brief. The archive for the work will be deposited with Leicestershire Museums with accession number ENN109495. [The report states the event number is ENN109495 which refers to an earlier investigation]
