Description

{2} Geophysical survey of the site located clear evidence of medieval agriculture in the form of ridge and furrow. In addition, anomalies suggest a probable prehistoric field system together with trackways. A number of possible enclosures of unknown date were also identified. Two rectangular anomalies may be pits or possibly sunken-featured buildings of Saxon date but could equally be modern in origin.
