Description
{1} Geophysical survey of c1.8ha of land near Trafford Bridge Farm. The survey revealed two complexes of linear anomalies from different phases of activity. A set of about five linear anomalies curve in a sweep across the site and seem to have defined multiple former alignments of a road or similar structure and of unknown date. Various other linear fills radiate across this and again belong to no known monument. A possible former headland and an adjacent field boundary both appear to be respected by ridge and furrow type cultivation or perhaps drains.
